Privacy, plainly.
The short version: we collect as little as possible. Your favourites stay with you, and download counts are anonymous.
01Who is responsible
The BISHKI app is run by Čepule Brand Architects, Lithuania. Contact: art@cepule.com.
02No account, no tracking cookies
You can browse, save and download without signing up. The app sets no advertising or analytics cookies and uses no third-party trackers.
03Saved favourites stay on your device
The studies you save (♡) are kept in your browser's local storage on this device only. They are never sent to us. Clearing your browser or app data removes them. The app also remembers locally if you dismissed the install hint.
04Anonymous download statistics
When you download a file we add one to a daily total for that wallpaper and screen format (for example: “The Maw, Phone, +1 today”). These totals contain no identifier and cannot be linked to you.
05Protection against automated downloading
To stop bulk scraping, each download request is checked against a short-lived counter. The counter key is a one-way, salted hash of your network address and browser type that changes every day. Your IP address itself is not stored. The counters are deleted automatically within about two days. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the service available and affordable (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
06Technical logs
Like any website, our hosting and storage providers process technical request data (such as IP address, time, requested page and browser type) to deliver the app and keep it secure. These logs are kept for a limited period by the providers and are not used to profile you. The artwork library, download counts and files are stored with Cloudflare in the European Union.
07Offline storage
If you install the app, your browser keeps a copy of the app itself and of previews you've viewed, so it opens quickly and works offline. Full-size original downloads are not cached. Removing the app or clearing site data deletes this.
08Supporting the studio (Stripe)
The Support button opens a payment page run by Stripe, outside this app. Any payment details you enter are handled by Stripe under its own privacy policy. We receive the payment and the details Stripe shares with merchants (such as the amount, and the name and email you provide). Supporting is entirely optional.
09Admin sign-in
Only the studio's administrators sign in, to manage artwork. Sign-in goes through Cloudflare Access; their email address and sign-in data are processed for that purpose only. Visitors never need an account.
10Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask for access, correction or deletion of personal data we hold, object to processing, and complain to a supervisory authority (in Lithuania: the State Data Protection Inspectorate). Because favourites stay on your device and statistics are anonymous, we usually hold no personal data about visitors at all.
